Steven First entered the Commercial Real estate market with a purchase in 2013, and has since participated in hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate transactions. He is responsible for financing, development, investments, acquisitions and operations.
Prior to co-founding Iacobo Capital in 2017, Steven worked in commercial banking at the Bank of Montreal where his responsibilities included credit risk assessment, on diversified files as well as construction and real estate financing. Steven has a background in public accounting from work at Ernst & Young specializing in both public and private clients. During his time at Ernst & Young, Steven developed a specialization in real estate by working closely with several of the largest Canadian private real estate investment firms. In 2012, Steven relocated to Los Angeles California for Ernst & Young to work with one of the Largest REIT’s in the United States. He is a member of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the John Molson School of Business, as well as a Bachelor of accountancy.
Anthony purchased his first Commercial property in 2010. With over ten years of real estate experience, Anthony is responsible for acquisitions, construction, and investor relations within Iacobo Capital. During this time, he has developed, negotiated, purchased and syndicated hundreds of projects. Previously, Anthony was a Vice-President at Fidelity Investments, where he was responsible for over 2$ Billion dollars of assets under management for close to a decade.
During his tenure at Fidelity, Anthony was responsible for territories located in Montreal, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Canada. Anthony’s clients were primarily advisors at Large Canadian Banks, as well as privately owned investment management firms. Prior to Fidelity, Anthony worked at the two largest banks in Canada; Royal Bank of Canada And TD bank where he was responsible for credit, financing and investments. Anthony Holds a Bachelor of finance, and an MBA in Investment Management from the Goodman Institute, at the John Molson School Business.
Luca is a Real Estate Analyst for Iacobo Capital and is currently completing his studies at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business. Already having completed a technical degree in Marketing, Luca is currently majoring in Finance, with a minor in Real Estate. He plays a role in financial analysis, tenant management, investment analysis and accounting.
From a young age, Luca worked for his family’s diverse construction company, and learnt vital industry related skills. Real Estate and construction management has always interested him, while building value through Real Estate acquisitions and renovations have always been a passion of his. He prides himself in providing professional customer service and is constantly looking to build solid, long-lasting relationships. Prior to Iacobo Capital, Luca worked at ADT & Discount Car Rentals in sales and customer service roles, followed by day to day operations at Les Entreprises DiMaria & Fils construction company.
Jonathan is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial reporting for Iacobo Capital Inc and its subsidiaries. Jonathan is also an active Partner at his accounting firm, I.D Consulting CPA. Prior to Iacobo Capital, Jonathan held several high profile accounting & finance positions. Jonathan was a senior manager at a private Montreal based accounting firm, who specialized in construction and real estate development companies.
At this company, Jonathan was a consultant for several of the country’s largest real estate developers, with yearly revenues in the billions of dollars. Prior to developing his specialty in real estate, Jonathan was employed at Richter Consulting in Chicago, Illinois as an analyst where he was responsible for restructuring strategies, business plans and cash flow forecasts for private and public companies. Prior To Richter, Jonathan spent several years as a senior accountant at Ernst & Young. Jonathan graduated from John Molson School of Business, with a bachelor of accountancy and is a member of the order of Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec.
